Classic Zombieland!

Two epic movies. Woody Harrelson has a way of being in those…

Two of my favorites!

I would like to thank Zombieland. And Woody Harrelson. And Shaun of the Dead. And Simong Pegg. And Michelob Golden Light (hey—can’t hurt to add them—maybe they’ll decide to sponsor me with all the business I give them). All of these things helped to rejuvenate me over the weekend. I now feel fresh and ready to take on a new week!
I was experiencing a major writer’s block last week and down in the dumps because of it. My zombie book is as good as done in my eyes, but needs some editing and I am not patient. My usual editor is busy until May. Pretty sure I can’t wait that long. I tend to go a little stir crazy when things are progressing as I expect them to. At least this week I get to do a photo shoot for the book cover—teenage girl…prom dress…zombie makeup…woods…can’t go wrong with those factors, right? Keep your fingers crossed!
I have books #3 and #4 both in the works, which I know is a writer’s no-no. I believe there is a name for what I have. SNIS—shiny new idea syndrome. I was 40,000 words into one story that sudden fell flat when another idea snuck into my mind…”write me! I’m exciting and new—you won’t get writer’s block with me)! So now I’m forced with the decision of which story to continue with and still don’t have an answer. Whatever I end up working, I’m sure it will be epic (ha—positive thinking is everything, right?).
Happy Monday to everyone. Hope your day is just as productive!
